Education & Training Committee members are qualified volunteers who 1) create programs and posts
and / or 2) Support workshops and training that promote mental health awareness, prevention, and connection.
This team creates contents and supports workshops and training to educate and empower residents to support one another’s mental wellness and know how to take action to prevent suicide in our community.
Roles
Clinical Content Reviewers
Qualified professionals who ensure all published materials are clinically accurate, trauma-informed, suicide-safe, and aligned with current mental health best practices.
Content Creators
Mental Health Professionals, community members, partners, or contributors submit blog content. Content will pass a review, selection and editing process for publication.
Workshop & Training Support
Assist with setting up sessions, managing materials, and supporting facilitators during trainings.
Facilitators & Co-Facilitators
Help lead discussions or activities for mental health workshops and community trainings.
Curriculum & Content Helpers
Support the creation of slides, handouts, and simple training resources.
Participant & Engagement Leads
Welcome attendees, guide small groups, and help create a warm, inclusive learning environment.

Pass Fort Bend Mental Health Communications 101 Class.
Commit to the Fort Bend Mental Health communication guidelines.
