Fort Bend Mental Health Communications Committee Members are creative community volunteers who help share our mission through social media, newsletters, campaigns, and community messaging. 

They create and curate communications that inspire, educate and inform Fort Bend County residents of events, videos and posts focused on matters of mental wellness and suicide prevention.

ROLES

Social Media & Content Creators

Create Instagram, Facebook and social posts, write captions, and design simple graphics to share our mission and events.

Reels & Short-Form Video Creators

Film and edit short videos and reels that spotlight stories, events, and mental health awareness.

Email & Newsletter Support

Help draft and format emails and newsletters that keep our community informed and engaged.

Website Content Helpers

Assist with updating event info, blog posts, and key pages to keep our site fresh and useful.

Photography & Event Coverage

Capture moments at events to help tell our story visually.

Who amplify the messages to their local communities.

Prerequisites

  • Pass Fort Bend Mental Health Communications 101 Class

  • Commit to the Fort Bend Mental Health communication guidelines.
