Fort Bend Mental Health Fundraising and Development Committee Members are CONNECTED community volunteers who help EXPAND our mission through EVENTS, campaigns, and PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS. 

They increase opportunities for the organization's mission by securing vital funding through grants and sponsorships, managing donor relationships, and coordinating fundraising events.

ROLES

Grant Writer/Researcher

Researches and drafts grant proposals to secure vital funding for Fort Bend Mental Health programs and operations.

Sponsorship Outreach Lead

Identifies, cultivates, and manages relationships with local businesses and corporate partners for event and mission sponsorships.

Event Planning Support

Assists the team with all aspects of planning and executing fundraising events, from vendor coordination to on-site volunteer management.

Donor Relations Specialist

Supports the communication and stewardship efforts for existing and prospective donors, helping to maintain engagement and commitment.

Prerequisites

  • Pass Fort Bend Mental Health Fundraising 101 Class

  • Commit to the Fort Bend Mental Health communication guidelines.
